A good-quality fiction magazine published at 4½d by Cassell's until 1927 and thereafter by Alfred Harmsworth's Amalgamated Press, The Story-Teller appeared monthly between April 1907 and October 1936, briefly continuing until November 1937 as Storyteller. It featured stories by Rudyard Kipling, William Hope Hodgson, Edgar Wallace, G. K. Chesterton, and Sax Rohmer. Edited by Newman Flower (1907-1928) and Clarence Winchester (1928-1937).
