The St Paul Globe (St Paul, MN, USA)
- Romance (Mar 27, 1904 — Jul 3, 1904)
4 July 1904
Founded in 1878 as a mouthpiece for Minnesota Democrats,
The St. Paul Globe in 1903 added a Sunday edition of fifty-two pages featuring eight pages of colour, including a four-page comic section. The paper's popularity faded in 1904 as its owner James Hill became negatively associated in the public mind with business monopolies. Despite a daily circulation of 40,000, the paper struggled to find advertising support, and published its last number on 20 April 1905.
